Plastic covered tables and a buffet style table of pastries makes it feel like you are at someone's house rather than a cafe. It gets surprisingly busy on a Sunday morning, mainly with locals who have been coming here for years. Lisa decorates her wall's with photos of these loyal customers which only adds to the home-like feeling of this place.

To add to the quaint atmosphere is the DELICIOUSLY FRESH pastries. Everything looks so good it's hard to decide what to pick. We went with a cinnamon bun and a cream puff pastry and were blown away.

There is not really a graceful way to eat cream pie.

VASA SHIP MUSEUM - This is a really impressive museum, and I feel like I know my museums at this point of the trip. What makes this so amazing is this war ship is incredibly well preserved from the 1600s and has beautiful detail. It also has a really interesting (and kind of embarrassing) story. The king at the time ordered it to be made but asked for a 2nd gun deck level to be added mid-way through production so it ended up being too tall than it was wide. All the celebratory cannonball blowing upon launch tipped the boat and 20 minutes into it's first voyage it sank! Thirty people died and the other 120 people on board managed to get out alive. The Saline levels in the Baltic Sea allowed for excellent preservation which is why we get to enjoy it today.

CAFE LINNE- This place had a great brunch deal for a couple of budget friendly travelers like us. Brunch means you can combine lunch and breakfast so we could spend a bit more. It was 18 Euros for a Swedish feast- coffee, juice, cinnamon buns, toast, eggs, meats, fruit & yogurt. We were in heaven after our many breakfasts from 7/11.
